Karen’s Psychotherapy Approach

Every individual has tremendous capacity for resilience, empowerment, and change.

I help people improve their health and wellness to live more fulfilling lives.

Being a psychotherapist is my fourth career. Before this, I worked in the worlds of banking, publishing, politics, and consulting. I deeply understand issues related to work stress, work/life balance, and burnout.

I specialize in treating addiction, living through grief and loss, and relationship issues. I also work with people suffering from symptoms of depression and anxiety, trauma, and codependency.

Through individualized care customized to each person’s goals, my patients grow and have a greater sense of well-being.

Acting as an agent of change and innovation has been a theme of my entire career. I like to think I am still working to change people’s worlds, I’m now doing it one person at a time.

Let’s get to work to help you start feeling better.

I help people with:

  • Addiction
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Grief and Loss
  • Family Stressors
  • Trauma/PTSD
  • Grief and Loss

I focus on people who are:

  • Professionals and Executives
  • LGBTQ Folks
  • People and Families Dealing with Addiction

You can contact me by email or by phone (202) 630-8120. I do my best to return all inquiries within 24 hours.
