Clinical Supervision

Charlotte has been supervising interns, licensed graduate professional counselors, and other mental health providers since 2013. She enjoys helping new therapists understand and hone their skills to become more effective, present, and confident professionals.

Operating from a psychodynamic and existential theoretical approach, Charlotte encourages and facilitates the professional development of new therapists. She also weaves in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and information on mindfulness practices to give her supervisees as many tools as possible to help them grow.

Charlotte is a Maryland Approved Supervisor (#1320) for Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC) in Maryland and provides supervision for counselors pursuing licensure in DC and Maryland.

Consultation

Professional growth is a commitment to helping the patients that you haven’t met yet.

Charlotte provides ongoing consultation to licensed clinicians in DC and Maryland. She also provides expertise regarding specific treatment issues, such as anxiety, emotional experiencing, addiction, and postpartum depression (PPD). She has presented at the Washington School of Psychiatry, and is a graduate of their Supervision Training Program.

Location of our Psychotherapy Practice

Rock Creek Therapy is located near Dupont Circle in Washington, DC.

We also conduct online therapy for residents of D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Michigan, Florida, Tennessee, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.
